Air Fryer Egg Ham and Cheese Toast
Ingredients
2 slices of bread (thick cut or regular sandwich bread)
2 eggs
2 slices of ham (or deli meat of your choice)
2 slices of cheese (cheddar, Swiss, mozzarella, or your favorite)
Butter or mayo (optional, for spreading)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Optional toppings: chopped green onions, red pepper flakes, hot sauce
Directions
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
Lightly press down the center of each slice of bread with the back of a spoon to create a shallow “well” for the egg.
(Optional) Spread a thin layer of butter or mayo on the outer edges of the bread for extra flavor.
Place a slice of ham inside the well.
Add a slice of cheese on top or slightly to the side, leaving space for the egg.
Carefully crack one egg into the well of each toast. If the bread is too flat, you can beat the egg slightly before pouring it in to prevent overflow.
Sprinkle salt, pepper, and any optional toppings.
Carefully place the toasts into the air fryer basket.
Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 6–9 minutes, depending on how runny or set you want the egg.
6 mins: soft/runny yolk
8-9 mins: fully set yolk
Remove with a spatula, let cool slightly, and serve warm!
