Air Fryer Crispy Cheese Curds

Ingredients

8 oz cheese curds
2 large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

In a small mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Mix well.

Place beaten eggs in another small bowl. In a third mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Stir well to combine.

Working in batches, dip a cheese curd into the flour mixture first, then in the eggs, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.

Transfer seasoned cheese curds to the parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze them for at least 1 hour.

Grease the air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Add frozen cheese cruds to the greased basket (you may need to work in batches) Spray the top of the curds with more olive oil spray.

Fry at 400 F (200 C) for 6-7 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Serve hot.
