Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Wings
Ingredients
2 pounds chicken wings patted dry
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
Garlic butter:
2 to 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 large garlic cloves finely chopped
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley or 1 teaspoon dried
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ to ½ teaspoon salt I added ½ teaspoon
¼ cup grated Parmesan
Directions
Stir all dry seasoning ingredients in a large bowl, add chicken wings and toss until evenly combined.
Pre heat air fryer to 350°F for 15 minutes. When ready, place wings in a single layer and cook ( don’t need to flip over).
After timer is over, cook for 5 more minutes at 400°F.
Make garlic butter while the chicken is cooking – Add butter and chopped garlic in a small sauce pan, cook over very low heat. Once the butter melts, cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes (stirring occasionally), until garlic begins to get pale golden (don’t let it get darker in color.
Pour garlic butter into a large bowl along with parsley, red pepper flakes, salt and garlic powder and give a good stir.
Finish – When timer goes off, transfer hot chicken wings into the bowl and stir until evenly combined. Stir in parmesan and serve hot.
