Air Fryer Pizza Turnovers
Ingredients
14 ounces refrigerated pizza dough
8 slices provolone cheese
30 slices pepperoni, mini
¾ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 large egg
1/4 cup marinara sauce, for serving
Directions
Begin by placing the dough on a flat surface and cutting it in half. Layer provolone cheese on the dough, then top with pepperoni, followed by mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning for added flavor. Repeat this step with the second piece of dough.
Fold each dough piece in half and pinch the edges to seal. In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it over the top of the turnovers.
Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and place the turnovers inside. Set the air fryer to 350°F and cook for 5-9 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Once cooked, slice, serve, and enjoy with marinara sauce for dipping!
