Air Fryer Hamburger Patties (fresh or Frozen)

Ingredients

For Fresh Patties:
1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 for juicier burgers)
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper

Optional: Worcestershire sauce, paprika, or seasoning salt

For Frozen Patties:
Use 4 pre-formed frozen beef patties
Season with salt and pepper once slightly thawed (or leave as-is if pre-seasoned)

Directions

Mix ground beef with seasonings (don’t over mix).

Divide into 4 equal parts and form into ½–¾ inch thick patties.

Press a slight indent in the center of each patty (helps keep shape).

Preheat to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.

Place patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket (no stacking).

Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Cook to desired doneness:
Medium: ~10 min
Well-done: ~12 min
Use a meat thermometer (aim for 160°F / 71°C internal temp for safety).

Add Cheese (Optional): Add a slice of cheese in the last 1–2 minutes of cooking.
