Air Fryer Ribeye Steak

Ingredients

1 ribeye steak (10–16 oz, 1–1.5 inches thick)
1 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
½ tsp smoked paprika (optional, adds depth)
Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme – optional)
1 tsp softened butter (for topping – optional)

Directions

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.

Pat steak dry with paper towels.

Rub with olive oil on all sides.

Season generously with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder/paprika.

Place steak in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for:
8–10 minutes for medium-rare (flip at 5 min)
10–12 minutes for medium
12–14 minutes for medium-well

Use a meat thermometer for precision.

Remove and let rest for 5–10 minutes on a cutting board, tented with foil.

Top with a pat of butter and fresh herbs, if desired.

Slice against the grain and enjoy with your favorite sides.
