Air Fryer Apple Chips

Ingredients

2 gala apples (or any apple you like)
1 1/2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
1 1/2 teaspoons of coconut oil (melted)

Directions

Wash the apples and remove the stem. With a mandolin set to 3mm or a very sharp knife, slice the apples into thin round chips leaving the skin on. Make sure to follow safety guidelines with your mandolin.

Remove the seeds.

Toss the apples with the coconut oil, cinnamon, and nutmeg until evenly coated in a medium bowl or extended plate. (Whatever is easier for you to turn the apple slices.)

Preheat the air-fryer to 300F. Place prepared apple slices in the air-fryer basket, in a single layer. Cook for 6 – 8 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Continue in batches until you are done with all of the apple slices.

Remove apple chips from the Air Fryer and set them onto a cooling rack.

They will continue to crisp up as they sit. If any feel damp or still squishy, leave those in the air fryer for another 2 minutes.
