Air Fryer Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Ingredients

2 Boneless skinless chicken breasts

Parmesan Crust:
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1 cup Parmesan cheese , grated
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon Black pepper:

Egg Wash:
2 large eggs,

Directions

In a shallow dish or bowl, combine the Panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix the ingredients thoroughly.

Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes.

In a separate shallow dish or bowl, beat the eggs.

Dip each chicken breast into the egg wash, ensuring it is fully coated on all sides.

Place the egg-coated chicken breasts into the Parmesan crust mixture, pressing firmly to adhere the crumbs to the chicken and create an even coating.

Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush it with a thin layer of olive oil to prevent the chicken from sticking.

Place the coated chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching or overlapping.

Air fry the chicken at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through the cooking process. The chicken is done when its internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), and the crust is golden brown and crispy.

Once done, remove the air-fried Parmesan Crusted Chicken from the basket and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
