Air Fryer Whole Chicken

Ingredients

1 whole chicken, rinsed and patted dry
pinch of kosher salt

For Rubs:
garlic powder
paprika
cumin
coriander
freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Season chicken generously with salt. Separate the skin form breasts and rub the salt underneath the skin.

Transfer seasoned chicken to a large baking dish and refrigerate, uncovered, for at least 2 hours

Remove the chicken from the refrigerator. Rub all over with olive oil, then with spices. Rub also the mixture underneath the skin.

Preheat your air fryer to 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes.

Place, breast side down, in the air fryer basket. Cook at 350 F (175 C) for 60 minutes, turning chicken once halfway through.

Remove roasted chicken from the fryer and transfer to a cutting board. Allow to rest for 10 minutes, then cut it and serve.
