1.5 lbs of bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
2 tbsp olive oil
2-3 pinches of salt
Fresh ground black pepper or white pepper to taste
2 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp oregano
1/2 cayenne pepper
1 tbsp baking powder
Add chicken to a bowl, then add two tbsp olive oil and all the seasonings . Give everything a really good massage to make sure the chicken is evenly coated on all sides.
Cover the chicken, and let it sit for 15 minutes.
Preheat Air Fryer to 400F.
Place the chicken thighs face down and cook for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for 15 mins skin side up. Time varies by Air Fryer but you want to get to 165F internal temp.
Served these with Avocado Crema, completely optional.
In a food processor blend together 1/2 a large avocado, a large handful fresh cilantro, 2 cloves garlic, 2 tbsp Greek yogurt (or sour cream), juice of 2 large limes, a couple pinches salt, 1 tbsp Chile lime seasoning. Process well, then adjust to taste.
